Medical & Dental Ministry

One of the most critical of needs in the comarca is for quality, affordable (or free) health care. Opportunities to meet physical needs abound in this area. We believe PCE is uniquely positioned to minister in this area. Few missions in the world are blessed to have M.D.'s also serving as the missionaries.
        

Dental Clinic

Through the generous donations of dentists from the U.S. and from FAME, PCE operates a fully functional dental clinic, complete with x-ray.

Medical Clinic

The permanent medical clinic is now near completion. It will have a waiting/reception area, examination rooms and a pharmacy.

Gira Medica

A Gira Medica is a mobile clinic on site at one of the Obrero's churches. It is announced weeks in advance. The clinic team arrives and sets up "shop." Patients arrive from far and wide. There are normally crafts, games and stories to keep the children (and adults) entertained. The Gospel message is proudly proclaimed to those who avail themselves to these medical services.

Medical Missions

Dentists, doctors, dental hygienists, nurses and all other medical skills are always welcome to come and minister in Boquete, whether for a week, a month, a year or for a lifetime.
