Church Work

The primary aim of any mission should be to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. It is sometimes easy to get off task, but all the various ministries of PCE are secondary to the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. PCE has no qualms about being involved in meeting the physical needs of the poor in Panama. These ministries are integrated together to deliver the message to the people of Panama.

Boquete

The center of PCE's work in Panama is in the city of Boquete. Recently declared an "eco-tourism" center, it is experiencing rapid growth and development. Because of this, there are now increased opportunities and challenges

The Obreros

The obreros are the preachers who serve congregations that spread throughout the comarca.

The Bible Institute

PCE has started a unique and intense training ministry for the future church leadership. Up to eight men are enrolled in a year-long training program in Bible study. The students move onto PCE property with their families and live in the provided student housing. These students are taught by two local ministers, PCE missionaries, as well as ministers from the U.S., Bible college professors from Atlanta Christian College, Cincinnati Christian University, and Ozark Bible College.

Bus Ministry

Because of the abject poverty of the Guaymi people and the high cost of private and public transportation, PCE operates several buses Sundays and through the week for meetings.

Conferencia

The conferencia is a three-day meeting of all the Christian churches on the comarca. It is a time of fellowship, teaching, preaching and usually results in several decisions for Christ and His Church.
